Description
A great blue heron comes in for a perfect landing as he seeks a perch where he can be fairly sure of catching his dinner. My husband and I had staked out our spot to catch just this moment after observing this heron on three consecutive evenings as the sun was setting. We felt confident that he would come, as he had before, to land on this little green boat until darkness set in.
