Description
Ogie, a perfect example of a beautiful Highland cow, is enjoying the fresh air and blooming flowers of a Tennessee spring! My husband and I visited Elm Hollow Farm in Treadway for an all day photo shoot and totally fell in love with these beautiful and gentle creatures. The Highland is a Scottish breed of rustic cattle. It originated in the Scottish Highlands and the Outer Hebrides islands of Scotland and has long horns and a long shaggy coat. It is a hardy breed, bred to withstand the intemperate conditions in their native region. The middle of April and upper east Tennessee is looking at its best, which made our day particularly enjoyable.
