Artist's Description
Often in the early morning along Hyatt Lane, especially in springtime, visitors to Cades Cove hear the melodious strains of the song of the meadowlark. Usually found sitting on a fence post, you can't help but smile as you begin to hear these natural songsters echoing one another from one side of the road to the other. This one wasn't particularly shy and almost seemed to pause in his song to give me a post as I passed by.
About Marcy Wielfaert
Simply put, I LOVE TO TAKE PICTURES. I found this love later in life than many do, after raising my family and enjoying a career in education, both as a teacher and school administrator. Currently, much of my time revolves around travel and photography, and when I'm not traveling and taking pictures, I'm thinking about traveling and taking pictures!
