Who could resist a Scottish piper in full regalia standing along a busy street in Scotland's capitol city during the perfect light of golden hour? Certainly not this photographer! I knew that because of the ideal circumstances when I took this shot, I should have a good result. What really surprised me, however, was the fact that I ended up liking the black and white version just as much as the color one. I love the way his face and hands look in this portrait with such wonderful detail!
