Description
Precocious daffodils dare to poke their heads above ground as early as the second week of February after a few warm sunny days. It's always a big deal in my area of Tennessee when those first brave yellow blooms are seen because we know that it's not going to be long before we can officially put winter behind us. This lovely daredevil was taken in my front year in February, and even though I knew that there would still be plenty of cold days in the next month or so, my heart beat just a little faster when I looked out my window and saw a burst of yellow for the first time. I grabbed my camera to go outside and document the occasion. My original photograph has been digitally enhanced to create an artistic presentation.
