Description
Just outside of Bozeman, my husband and I decided to make a right turn and do some exploring of the Montana countryside. Little did we know that down that road and around a few bends, we would see some of the most beautiful scenery in the perfect light of a Montana summer evening. What a delightful discovery! Needless to say, before our trip was over and we had to return home to Tennessee, we visited this area several more times to photograph in different times of the day. However, it never was quite as amazing as that first time when everything was bathed in that phenomenal light!

Very beautiful, Marcy. There is a most pleasing simplicity to this image, with the flowers being showcased for both color and form. Very restful and serene.

I love the depth of field in this -- from the purple flowers up close to the mountains in the distance -- beautifully composed! L/F
