As I looked through some image files from last summer, I rediscovered this landscape taken in Potlatch, Idaho in June. Freeze Church is a small, country church with a rich history that sits atop a hill just across the pasture from where my husband and I stayed in a bed and breakfast while visiting the Palouse area of eastern Washington and western Idaho. Most days, sheep could be found grazing in the pasture in front of the church. When I took the picture, I honestly didn't even think of pairing it with Psalm 23, but today, as I revisited it, I couldn't get this scripture passage out of my mind. I love to pair favorite scripture verses with my photography, and it is my hope that those who see them will be inspired or touched in some positive way!
