Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

A beautiful natural carpet of fallen leaves surrounds the Methodist Church of Cataloochee Valley, North Carolina. Located in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the church is part of an Appalachian mountain community and Cherokee hunting ground historical area. Visitors are drawn to the area to observe the large herd of elk that resides here in addition to the historical structures that dot the area. The day this image was taken it was lightly sprinkling and I found myself trying to balance my camera and an umbrella to get this particular shot. I was pleased with the way it turned out even though I had my doubts at the time!
Simply put, I LOVE TO TAKE PICTURES. I found this love later in life than many do, after raising my family and enjoying a career in education, both as a teacher and school administrator. Currently, much of my time revolves around travel and photography, and when I'm not traveling and taking pictures, I'm thinking about traveling and taking pictures! The Tennessee valley is my home, so I am surrounded by some of the most scenic areas of the United States with the added bonus of plentiful wildlife and birds...literally paradise for a photographer!
