Description
While wandering through the South Carolina low country near Charleston, my husband and I passed this picturesque little chapel in the middle of nowhere. The simple architecture and black and white color scheme is typical of the area which is made up of mostly marshlands and wetlands. Just a little before this, we had been surprised to see an alligator along the road. The sign told us that it was an interdenominational church that meets the first three Sundays of each month. Apparently, the worshippers have that last Sunday off!
