Description

As evening falls in Salzburg, Austria, the sky fills with interesting cloud formations making a wonderful backdrop for this vignette of an open iron gate. Walk through the gate and you will find yourself in the ancient burial grounds and cemetery of a lovely church in the heart of the old city. The summer evening was made perfect as the bells of the tower in the back center of the image began to toll, adding another lovely element to this special setting. My husband and I strolled around the area until darkness came all too soon, making it necessary to head back to our nearby hotel.
