Description
One of the few PEI lighthouses ever tended by a woman, New London has an interesting history, including being rented as a summer home from the 1960's until 2000. While serving there, the female light keeper actually birthed on of her children in the lighthouse! It is currently a working light and still guides ships into New London harbor.
