When you hear someone speak of Kruger National Park, no doubt wildlife is the next thought that comes to mind. And without question, the amazing wildlife is the highlight of any visit to this not-to-be-missed location on any trip to South Africa. However, I was pleasantly surprised to also find a pleasing landscape in the "bush" that is the natural habitat of so many fabulous animals. When the light hits the grasses and unusually shaped trees just right, it's actually breathtaking. Late in the afternoons while we were there, the skies also added a very dramatic touch to the scenic landscapes.
