Artist's Description
Fishing is one of the main industries of Canada's smallest province, Prince Edward Island. There are many tiny fishing villages that dot the coast of the maritime island on every side. Graham's Pond was discovered by my husband and me on our most recent visit to PEI. We had decided to head east from our home base in Cavendish and just follow our nosed to see what we could discover. These kinds of days always end up being our favorites, and we never come home disappointed when following the back roads and finding new places. I especially loved the colorful fishing shacks sitting along the dock just behind the bright white boat in the water.

Simply put, I LOVE TO TAKE PICTURES. I found this love later in life than many do, after raising my family and enjoying a career in education, both as a teacher and school administrator. Currently, much of my time revolves around travel and photography, and when I'm not traveling and taking pictures, I'm thinking about traveling and taking pictures! The Tennessee valley is my home, so I am surrounded by some of the most scenic areas of the United States with the added bonus of plentiful wildlife and birds...literally paradise for a photographer!
