Description
This unique image looking through an old paned window, from the inside out, was taken in Siglufjorour, Iceland. It gives you just a glimpse into this charming, little village that became famous as a herring fishing location, but now caters to tourists who want to visit a town that is north of the Arctic Circle. There is still some fishing that goes on here, but the local shops, cafes, and bakeries are the main draw for the visitors who spend an afternoon here. I liked the different perspective as I was touring a local museum and noted the lovely, colorful view that could be seen right out the window.
