Artist's Description
A gorgeous late afternoon in Paradise, Pennsylvania brings with it a lovely sunset as my husband and I are driving through the Amish country. We just happened to be following an Amish buggy as we crossed a creek in the small village, and I was able to get this shot at just the right moment for the desired composition. I especially loved the stone house with the red door against the beautiful sky, the mill sign on the left, and the silos towering in the distance. A nice tree canopy seemed to make it all come together!

Simply put, I LOVE TO TAKE PICTURES. I found this love later in life than many do, after raising my family and enjoying a career in education, both as a teacher and school administrator. Currently, much of my time revolves around travel and photography, and when I'm not traveling and taking pictures, I'm thinking about traveling and taking pictures! The Tennessee valley is my home, so I am surrounded by some of the most scenic areas of the United States with the added bonus of plentiful wildlife and birds...literally paradise for a photographer!
