Description
There is literally something to look forward to in every room of Chateau Chenonceau in France's Loire valley. Wonderfully fragrant fresh flower arrangements are placed front and center, and it's almost worth taking the tour just to enjoy the flowers! This image is from the dining room where an assortment of roses in various vases filled the huge table space from one end to the other. Bathed in natural light from the large window and reflected in the mirror on the table, this was probably my favorite display. All flowers in the chateau are grown on the premises and taken care of by a full time "flower tender," according to our guide.
