Description
The day after hurricane Dorian moved away from the shores of Prince Edward Island, my husband and I joined many other residents and visitors out and about around the island to assess the damage. Many downed trees, power outages, ominously cloudy skies, and some flooded areas were all evidence that we had, in fact, survived a fierce storm overnight. This familiar path, normally sand leading to the beach near the New London lighthouse, had become a water filled trench.
