Artist's Description

The golden orange cottonwood trees in the background clearly show that it's still the peak of the fall season here in the Grand Tetons. It was a great surprise gift to awake to an early October snowfall while visiting this popular Wyoming national park. Because the road to this historic barn is closed through the winter season, it was a wonderful opportunity to capture some images of the iconic landmark in snow. Although the snow will eventually come down faster and pile up much higher as winter really comes to this beautiful spot, this light dusting was a refreshing change in the autumn scene!
