Every year in very early spring, one of the highlights of the new season is a fresh crop of baby bears emerging from the dens with their mothers. Without question, this little cubbie is the cutest bear face I have ever photographed! It was such a treat to see him high in a tall tree while his mama took a well deserved nap below. He played peek a boo with me for about 30 minutes until mama woke up, called him down, and they walked deeper into the woods.
