Marienplatz, as the central square of old city Munich, is alive with excitement and color in all seasons. From the famous Christmas markets held during the early months of winter to the sidewalk cafes and beer gardens mingled with a fabulous shopping district that are always lively during the warmer times of year. The architectures are a mix of old and new ranging from the Middle Ages to yesterday. This amazing city has so much to offer, and I am going to have to go back when I can spend more than two days there!
