Grand Tetons National Park certainly doesn't disappoint if you enjoy breathtaking scenery! Unfortunately, our time there was limited to just one long day, so my husband and I definitely will be back soon. This image was taken along Cascade Creek near Jenny Lake on a perfect morning in mid July. We had arrived in time for sunrise and when exploring the Jenny Lake area, it was still early enough that we pretty much had it to ourselves giving us some grand picture opportunities. This was one of my favorites from the day.
Simply put, I LOVE TO TAKE PICTURES. I found this love later in life than many do, after raising my family and enjoying a career in education, both as a teacher and school administrator. Currently, much of my time revolves around travel and photography, and when I'm not traveling and taking pictures, I'm thinking about traveling and taking pictures! The Tennessee valley is my home, so I am surrounded by some of the most scenic areas of the United States with the added bonus of plentiful wildlife and birds...literally paradise for a photographer!
