Description

I love to see blue jays in my back yard because they are such beautiful birds. Often, however, I hear them long before I see them. These large, common songbirds can be very loud and expressive, and sometimes I hear their raucous squawks when I'm inside with all of my window and doors securely shut. Sure enough, I'll go to the window to see what's going on, and it's a blue jay giving another bird a piece of his mind! This one looks calm enough, but just let another bird come anywhere near him, and I'm quite sure he'll make his presence known!
