Artist's Description

Looking across the Lake of Shining Waters, a large white barn sits on the sloping hillside of Park Corner, Prince Edward Island. This is the farm site where Lucy Maud Montgomery's aunt and uncle, John and Annie Campbell lived and the place the author called "Silver Bush" in many of her literary works and referred to the home as her enchanted castle. On the 110 acre site is a museum dedicated to the childhood memorabilia of Montgomery as well as a very nice gift shop, and carriage rides. Still owned by the Campbell family by descendants of John and Annie who settled here in 1776.

About Marcy Wielfaert

Marcy Wielfaert

It gives me great joy to use this medium to share the intricacies of...
