Listed as one of Ireland's most popular tourist attractions, the Cliffs of Moher are certainly worth including on any itinerary of the Emerald Isle. Located at the southwestern edge of the burren region in County Clare, the highest of the cliffs stands at 702 feet tall. Sandstone and Namurian shale make up the composition of the cliffs, with the oldest rocks being at the bottom of the cliffs. Cliffs of Moher is home to a significant amount of birds and wildlife, including puffins, seals, dolphins, minke whales, porpoises, sharks, wild goats, foxes, badgers, and Irish hares.
