Description
Sometimes it can be very easy to overlook the familiar things that we see every day. Common and familiar places can be taken for granted if we look at them but don't really SEE them. Recently on a foggy morning in November, I wandered outside with my camera and walked around the yard choosing to look at it through the eyes of a photographer. Yes, there's the familiar tire swing that my husband made and hung in a tree for my granddaughters, the tool shed that sits where my children's playhouse was many years ago, and the trees that we planted from seeds because we couldn't afford to buy trees when we moved in. All things that could be very ordinary and mundane, but on this particular morning, they worked together as a picturesque composition that I found quite appealing. I like to think that others might enjoy it, too!
