Description
A vibrant port city located on Spain's Costa del Sol along the Mediterranean Sea, Malaga is an exciting place with a wonderful blend of old and new. One of the highlights of Malaga is the Pablo Picasso Museum which is located just down the street from the Cathedral of Malaga with its tower standing 276 feet above the city, making it the second tallest cathedral in Andalusia. The architect was Diego de Siloe, and the edifice was constructed between 1528 and 1782 in the Renaissance architectural style, with the exception of the facade which is in the Baroque style. This is the view of the cathedral coming from the Picasso Museum, providing a colorful street view with the clock tower of the cathedral against a perfectly blue May sky.
