Description
A visit to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in the summertime is greatly enhanced by stopping by the streams and waterfalls in the park. Located along the main road through the park, The Sinks is a spot that features some beautiful rocks, vibrant green foliage, and flowing water. Most times the water here is swift moving and it's just as much fun to hear as it is to see. On a hot, July day you can cool off a bit just by being here and taking in the refreshing beauty of nature. Although it is a popular stop, there are signs posted warning visitors about the dangers of getting too close.
