Originally built as part of the Ibero American Exposition of 1928, the Plaza de Espana is a great place to visit when in Seville, Spain. Combining elements from Baroque, Renaissance, and Moorish Revival styles, the plaza buildings are considered to be a landmark design of regional architecture. When the exposition ended, most of the buildings were claimed by the government of Spain for offices, but even though visitors can no longer see the interiors, the outside plaza itself is a must see for Seville. Mosaic tile artistry is tucked away in alcoves located throughout the huge area depicting historically significant scenes, virtually creating an outdoor art museum. This photo is one of the main plaza buildings and has gorgeous symmetry and lines, making it a wonderful decor piece appropriate for office, hall, den, living room, or anywhere in your home that calls for a piece of fine art photography.

Simply put, I LOVE TO TAKE PICTURES. I found this love later in life than many do, after raising my family and enjoying a career in education, both as a teacher and school administrator. Currently, much of my time revolves around travel and photography, and when I'm not traveling and taking pictures, I'm thinking about traveling and taking pictures!
