Description
Imagine yourself bouncing along in a jeep along very bumpy roads before sunrise and hearing the bush land of South Africa coming awake as the first light of day begins to arrive. Animal sounds, bird calls, rustling bushes...it's all quite mysterious and exciting during the first hour of a safari game drive. Then it's light, and you are constantly scanning the scene in front of you hoping to be the first one to spot some exotic wildlife off in the bush. Then all of a sudden your driver slams on the brakes and the sudden jolt causes you to look and see why he's stopping so suddenly. Right there, a few feet from the front of the jeep, stands a mama and nursing baby rhinoceros! It was a great start to a wonderful adventure that just got better and better as the day progressed. We sat watching this pair for several minutes until the baby was finished with breakfast, and they turned around and disappeared into the fog. Oh my goodness! I'm really in Africa taking pictures of these amazing animals! It was hard to even believe it was really happening...

I'm so glad for your adventure. It is so hard to imagine such animals exist on this planet. Superb! L/F

These rhinos can run 30-35 mph on those little stubby legs! The whole experience was amazing. Thanks for the feedback.
