Description
Just walking down this arched hallway on a beautiful summer afternoon with the light streaming through the windows was, in itself, a sacred experience. To my left were many ancient religious artifacts and to my right, that unbelievable light. The honed, curved wooden beams forming the arches overhead were exquisitely arranged in the triple nave "cross" pattern. This was the first day of my tour of Germany, and this was the moment I knew it was going to be an incredible experience!
