Description
Canada's smallest province, Prince Edward Island, has many lighthouses scattered throughout the coastline on all sides. Some are still working lights, others are now privately owned. Cape Bear lighthouse, located on the island's eastern shore, is now privately owned and houses a small maritime museum. My husband and I traveled across the province to see this charming little lighthouse on a perfect day in late summer. Admittedly, when we got there, there wasn't much to see as it is very small and quite isolated. We did enjoy walking around the grounds and taking a few photos, however. The beautiful primary colors so vividly shown in this image make the picture for me. No enhancement necessary...the day was about a week after hurricane Dorian had moved away from PEI, and the air was cleaner, the sky bluer, and natural hues more vibrant than I've ever seen them!
