Description
The picturesque town of Positano, Italy is one of the most scenic spots along the Amalfi Coast drive. The rugged coastline, showcasing the Salerno Gulf of the Tyrrhenian Sea, is a designated UNESCO World Heritage site that draws millions of visitors each year and is definitely considered a must see if your itinerary falls anywhere near the area. On the day that we drove the scenic drive, it was so foggy as we left Sorrento that I was very concerned about being able to see anything at all through the thick fog. However, as we got down the coast a bit and were nearing Positano, things began to clear, and we had some fabulous views. I really like this one taken from the road high above the city.
