French River is one of many picturesque, quaint fishing villages on Prince Edward Island. As Canada's smallest province, PEI is not as well known as some of the others, but this tiny island has much to offer. My husband and I have been making an annual trip there for the past twenty years in late summer. A slow paced routine is easy to adopt, and we use this time each year to rejuvenate and refresh as we walk the quiet beaches, enjoy fresh seafood every evening, and take plenty of photos in some of the most perfect light I've ever seen. The name of this boat sitting at a dock in French River says it all...Knot Inarush. That describes the Prince Edward Island existence perfectly!

Simply put, I LOVE TO TAKE PICTURES. I found this love later in life than many do, after raising my family and enjoying a career in education, both as a teacher and school administrator. Currently, much of my time revolves around travel and photography, and when I'm not traveling and taking pictures, I'm thinking about traveling and taking pictures! The Tennessee valley is my home, so I am surrounded by some of the most scenic areas of the United States with the added bonus of plentiful wildlife and birds...literally paradise for a photographer!
