Description
Those of us who are local and able to frequently visit the Great Smoky Mountains National Park always look forward to June when it's time for the abundant mountain laurel bushes to show off their delicate beauty. For about four weeks, these beauties can be found in the woods of the mountains, often near a stream or river bank. I love to capture them at various stages of bloom throughout the season. This one, in full bloom and nearing the end of its cycle, shows how beautiful delicate and dainty can be!
