Description

Float planes are a mainstay in Alaska and are the only way in and out of many areas. Mail is delivered, workers commute to and from their jobs, and places that are not accessible by road or rail receive supplies and visitors by way of the float plane. These special vehicles are both colorful and useful and add to the adventure aspect of Alaska.
