Description

There may not be a more commonly seen bird than the sparrow. Most times I don't even bother taking pictures of them because they are so common that I usually don't even notice as they dart about in the woods. It just seems that there are always more photogenic feathered friends that take precedence. I did notice this one, though, as he sat on the end of a fallen log along Sparks Lane in Cades Cove in the most perfect beam of light. Later, as I looked at the image, I was reminded that the scriptures mentions these little birds more than once, and that God uses them as an illustration to assure us of His constant care.
