Chateau Chenonceau, Sepia Version Youth T-Shirt

Chateau Chenonceau, located along the River Cher in the Loire Valley of France, is quite a showplace. This fairy tale type castle is also known as the ladies chateau due to the fact that it has always been under the ownership of ladies. Of several chateaus that we visited while in France, Chenonceau was my favorite although it was not nearly the most opulent nor the largest. Fresh flowers and period decor filled every room making this tour such a pleasure. A full time floral arranger is on staff to ensure that beautiful fresh arrangements, grown on the premises, are the centerpiece of each room. This effort made the entire chateau smell heavenly!

Simply put, I LOVE TO TAKE PICTURES. I found this love later in life than many do, after raising my family and enjoying a career in education, both as a teacher and school administrator. Currently, much of my time revolves around travel and photography, and when I'm not traveling and taking pictures, I'm thinking about traveling and taking pictures! The Tennessee valley is my home, so I am surrounded by some of the most scenic areas of the United States with the added bonus of plentiful wildlife and birds...literally paradise for a photographer!
