My husband and I made our first trip to Rocky Mountain National Park in the month of January, going against much advice offered by friends and acquaintances. When learning that we were making the trip to Colorado in winter, we were met with many quizzical looks and raised eyebrows. Well, this image of snowing and blowing was taken about two hours after we arrived as we were checking out the park. But instead of being disappointed, we were excited to see this gorgeous winter landscape. The higher up we went, the more vigorous the snow! As photographers, it was our goal to come west to capture some winter landscape photos that we are rarely able to get in our home state of Tennessee. Let the fun begin!
