Description
As a result of an ancient volcanic fissure eruption, the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Giants Causeway located in Northern Ireland about three miles northeast of the town of Bushmills, boasts over 40,000 basalt columns and boulders along the coast. The vivid colors on a sunny day are so intense and vibrant with the ocean on one side, green hills on the other, and the black basalt in the middle. I've been to this spectacular natural phenonamen twice and loved it both times!
