Description
As hurricane Dorian retreated from the small Canadian province of Prince Edward Island, my husband and I decided to get out for a bit to check out the damage around the area. After driving for a couple of hours and seeing many, many downed trees and flooded areas, we found ourselves at Confederation Bridge. The bridge spans the Strait between mainland Canada at New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. A very large piece of driftwood had been washed upon the beach, a bench overturned, and lots of seaweed rested at the edge of the water, but other than that, we did not see much difference in this location. We had been out to the bridge the week before taking some sunset and blue hour photos, so while we were there once again during the afternoon, we took the opportunity to take a few more. I loved the sky that day and the shapely driftwood that had been added to the beach landscape.
