From inside the famous Roman coliseum, you have a very nice peek-a-boo view of the Italian capitol's city center. The traditional arches that make up the outer ring of the ancient arena offer a unique perspective from the upper level of the ancient structure that dates back to 72 AD when construction first began. This image also shows the thickness of the walls as well as the rough hewn texture.
