Auxerre is one of those charming, picturesque towns that draws you in and calls you to return. Unfortunately, I was only here for an afternoon and evening on a warm summer day in late July, but this scenic town made a great first impression in every regard. With its striking Gothic cathedral and abbey lit up as a backdrop to the waterside promonade that calls for a leisurely stroll, Auxerre certainly has a lot to offer. So happy that I had an opportunity to visit for a while and get some great pictures as a fond remembrance.
